What does it do?

Evernote is an app that can be used on your smartphone, tablet and computer which serves as a note taker, pocket notebook and to-do-list. It also syncs across all your devices.

Why would it help a university student?

The app allows you to share notes with fellow students, pictures can be added to your notes and also voice memos and audio right within the app. Different files can be added to your notes such as spreadsheets, images and documents. This could especially be useful during group work projects.

Are there any disadvantages?

The disadvantages would be that the app is only available with internet. Another disadvantage would be that the best features are only available with a premium account. To have access to a premium account you would have to pay £3.99 per month on the app store.
